Going throught first mile in 5.03 we all knew the pace would not ease down at the front end. A light drizzle over Kingston Bridge soon cleared away for the masses with good packing further back...Overall tested the pace around 7 mile then packed in the full force of recent training afew miles later. Moumin was safe for the $$$ with a 49 clocking and Trapmore took the Bronze with a lone run and wrapped up the £100 for 3rd. . Just behind, Martin Rees was running to close to a world record for M55's. Results .
Great North Silver medalist Magdeline Mukunzi finished 17th overall for the ladies win from regular on the circut Berhane Dagne of Belgrave Harriers. Below - after Overall and Geele there was some pack running. Martin Rees, still banging in the times and a 96.72% age grading! Luckily, they gave the cabbages to them afterwards rather than handing them out at the start to run the full distance with.......maybe a cabbage grading would be applicable.
