1 - The Marathon Windows Tour of Epsom & Ewell starts next Monday, 9 June with races each evening until Friday 13 June. If you have not yet entered and plan to do so, please send your e-entry in so that I get it by Sunday at noon as I need to order T shirts for those who wish to run the WHOLE TOUR.

 

If you are not planning to run or are injured, why not come and help out on one or more nights. Volunteers are always both very welcome and very useful. Please let me know if you are able to assist...even if only for one night.

 

2 - Three years ago, several of your shared my 65th birthday by joining me for a run in Horton Country Park, the venue for next Monday's opening race of the Tour. Well, this year, my birthday coincides with the final event promoted by the Prague International Marathon organisation, the Women's 5km and Men's 10km starting and finishing in the wonderful Old Town Square on the evening of Saturday 13 September. There is also a Run for Health 4km earlier at about 6.30pm.

 

Why not have a weekend away in a lovely city, have a run, have some good food & drink, see some wonderful sites and help me enjoy my 68th birthday.

 

It is possible to fly out on the afternoon/evening of Friday 11 September and back on Sunday 14 September should you not wish to take time off work. I can book hotels,, get your entry sorted etc. Just contact me.

 

3 - Every UK Bank Holiday, I have events in Derbyshire and over the years, many runners from the south have come up and run  in them. This August, on Sunday 24 August, I have the annual fell races in the small village (pop 97) of Bradbourne, near Ashbourne with the addition of English Junior Fell Championship races for u8, u10, u12, u14, u16 and u18. If you have juniors in the family, why not come up and have a run

 

4 - Finally, the annual Nonsuch Park relays will be held at 7pm on Thursday 3 July. Will your club be taking part?
