| Decent half marathon runners needed - Big shout out to Londons finest! - 2. august 2008In my role as England Athletics London Regional Manager, I've been tasked with finding three decent male runners and three decent female runners to do the Robin Hood Half marathon in Nottingham on 14 September...
The race clashes with Bristol Half marathon but entries have closed for that so I'm sure there will be some runners out there looking for a decent half marathon. I understand the course is pretty quick - winner in 2007 was Simon Tonui of Kenya. England Athletics London Region will ensure entry (free) for those selected, and will pay reasonable travel and hotel costs associated with the race. Indeed I'll book people into a hotel. Sounds like a good deal? Contact me on 07824-302930 or at bsmith@englandathletics.org if anyone is interested.
C'mon London runners, support your area management..
